On this episode I talk to Ric Everrett a former Recon Marine who deployed twice to Iraq. Ric was assigned to 4th Reconnaissance Battalion, located in San Antonio, TX. Ric joined as Reservist but didn’t come off his original boot camp active duty orders until after his first deployment. Enjoy his story.

On this episode I reconnect with my friend Eric Morante. Eric is a retired Marine, Adaptive Sports Athlete, and Amputee Boxer. Though I never met Eric prior to meeting him at Brooke Army Medical Center, we passed by his check point daily on our patrol. We catch up and I get the opportunity to thank him for hooking me up on my first hunt.

Today I get to talk to my good friend Adam Johnson. Adam joined the Marines out of high school and became a corrections officer which meant most of his time in the Marine Corps was in and around the Brig. He learned about the Military Justice system flaws and all. He also did prisoner transports across the country. After leaving the military he went into the creative world until he felt called to return to Indiana his some town and work on a property to house veteran retreats.

Today I get to talk to my good friend Shep Reimer, in this podcast which is part one of two I learned he grew up south of the border to missionary parents and returned to the US in his preteens, we talk about why he joined the Navy his desire to be a SEAL and his course in the Navy that took him away from that path to become a Special Amphibious Reconnaissance Corpsman - at the time I met him there were fewer than 100 SARCs in the world.
